ASHTANGA YOGA
Commonly known as power yoga. Deep rhythmic breathing is combined with various, sequenced yoga postures to create a thorough and extremely effective workout. The common misconception, that yoga is just a sitting, meditative experience, is completely off. Ashtanga is fast-paced and very physical. Regular practice builds strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.
With regular practice, yoga reduces stress levels through focus of mind on the breath. The breath is a background rhythm that carries you from the beginning to end of practice. Ashtanga goes beyond being just a physical exercise. The Ujiya breathing that is incorporated into the practice acts as a constant focus for the mind. This focus of the mind opens the door to a number of meditative possibilities.
You can talk about yoga as much as you would like, but yoga must be practiced to understand its benefits. A well-known saying by Sri Pattabhi Jois, "Yoga is 1% theory and 99% practice" says it all.

VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa Flow takes dynamic yoga to a deeper level by integrating rhythmic breathing with conscious movement. As in all physical yoga, you will increase strength and flexibility - and by uniting body and breath, you'll learn to move from moment to moment with absolute awareness. The practice becomes a meditation in action, and can lead to a lifelong love of yoga!
LEVEL I
Classes are targeted for intro yoga students, but the class can benefit any level and any type of practice. Level 1 classes can be a great opportunity for experienced yogis to attain better alignment and understanding of a posture.
LEVEL II
Five level 1 classes or 1 private lesson is suggested before taking level II classes. Classes are targeted for intermediate to advanced students. These classes fine tune the basics and promote strength and yogic principles with more advanced poses! Great for athletes and a nice addition for people who have an established workout routine!
LEVEL III
Classes are targeted for an experienced yoga practitioner. Intermediate to advanced students are welcome to come! These classes flow without as much stopping to break down poses, so students can truely get grounded and work towards meditation. Level III classes have a rigorous pace and experiment with different aspects of yoga, from arm balance to hip openers and deep twists.
